- Where necessary, links have
titleattributes which describe the link in greater detail. - Whenever possible, links are written to make sense out of context.
- There are no
javascript:pseudo-links. All links can be followed in any browser, even if scripting is turned off. - There are no links that open new browser windows without warning.
Visual Design & Images
- This Web site uses CSS for visual layout. If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets, the content of each page is still readable.
- All font sizes are relative, and can be increased using the “text size” option in visual browsers.
- All content images used throughout the site include descriptive
altattributes. Purely decorative graphics include emptyaltattributes.
Acronyms & Abbreviations
Whenever possible, an instance of an acronym or abbreviation is accompanied with the appropriate XHTML tag.
